Laurie, Gail & Hilda - Leading Bloggers Styling Pieces From the-Bias-Cut.com
One of the things I love the most is seeing how you style our pieces. You are unique, and so is your personal style, and we want to celebrate that as much as possible.
So last weekend we invited over 3 of our favourite bloggers for a special photoshoot to see how they would style pieces from our latest collection: Laurie from Vanity & Me, Hilda from Over The Hilda, and Gail from Is This Mutton?
Each of them have a different sense of style, but they are equally fabulous. All 3 picked their favourite pieces from our collection and then created looks that reflected who they were, and I think you'll agree the end results were fabulously inspiring! What was particularly interesting was how their picks overlapped quite a bit, and yet each of them created such different looks.
Plus, as a special treat, we're offering 10% off on every piece selected by the ladies for the week (excludes sale items & ends 3rd November 2017)! All you'll need to do is add code BLOGGERSPICK for accessories at checkout! (just click on the title of the product to shop)
Laurie describes her style as classic, brought up to date with on trend accessories.
I'm a huge fan of how Laurie has paired our 100% wool Cleta cream sweater with our boucle tweed like Nolene trousers, and then styled it with our Dahlia Off White 2-in-1 bag, and her own shoes and accessories. It's such a chic 'smart casual' look and a great twist on it. The default for smart casual can be nice jeans with a cool top, but instead Laurie has gone for a stunning pair of trousers, and a more relaxed top. P.S. - despite Laurie being petite, how well do the cropped flared trousers work on her?!
Gail's style is so funky. She told me how she's obsessed with boots (a woman after my own heart!) and her styling has such a cool attitude.
Having already fallen in love with our Bowie Sweater in pink, Gail is modelling her own with our Saria lace skirt and Black Round Crossbody/Wristlet clutch. Then she has picked up on the silver lurex in the sweater, and accessories the look with her own silver boots and belt. Plus I love how her purple tights flash through the lace! Such a badass look.
For a party look, Gail chose our Narelle dress with its fabulous palm print, pairing it with our Black Pony Gold Foil Clutch and two of our Gembud rings. And to finish the look she borrowed my Burgundy shoes to add another dimension to the look.
Finally Gail pulled out another pair of her fab boots, but teaming them with our Sophie velvet blazer, Mimi 100% cotton v-neck tshirt, and our Jaice pants(popular amongst all the ladies for their modern athletic lux style, perfect for pairing with heels). And I loved that she chose the same Dahlia Off-White 2-in-1 bag as Laurie but for a totally different look!
Hilda's vibrancy comes through her style. Inspired by her daughter, a leading stylist, she had fun with pattern clashing, putting together unexpected yet brilliant looks.
Finally Hilda rocked our Bowie pink sweater but pairing it with our Sandia skirt. The clashing colours make it so bold and contemporary! And again, her t-bar heels look great with it.
I hope that has inspired you to have fun experimenting with your style - it sure has done with me! And don't forget to enjoy 10% off all of Laurie's, Gail's and Hilda's picks with code BLOGGERSPICK!
