Gem & Tonic designer Barbara Laws created her signature 'Gembud' jewellery as she wanted to create stylish pieces that are eye catching, but simple and easy to wear. As a traditionally trained third generation Goldsmith, Barbara hand makes every piece, using semi precious stones and a 9kt yellow gold chain. The fresh water pearl is hooped onto the endless delicate chain giving you a variety of styling options. These make truly unique gifts for a loved one, or even yourself.
Choose between 6 different light-coloured semi-precious stones, and your size. And then wear your Gembud ring individually, or combine two to reinvent the stacked rings look.
Please note: as these pieces are made to order, please allow 3-5 working days for your piece to arrive. The rings are non-returnable, but can be adjusted if you select the wrong size. Gems may vary as every piece is individually made.

Gem & Tonic use Fairtrade gold and silver from licensed suppliers, whose full supply chain are audited to Fairtrade Gold Standards meaning the working conditions of miners are ethical and they are paid a fair price. Real gold and silver jewellery is per se sustainable as it can be melted down and reused. Jewellery is also up-cycled from customers who are no longer happy with it and bring it back to life. All gemstones are sourced where people and our planet are treated respectfully and responsibly.
As the designs are timeless which means they can be worn over and over again and even handed to the next generation. Not like fast fashion’s “trendy” jewellery which is poorly made and thrown away after a few wears, wasting resources and exposing the wearer and manufacturer to toxic materials.
The packaging is environmentally friendly using as little plastic possible.
