Caring For You & Our Staff: Our Coronavirus Response

Updated 05.05.20

We are living in strange and unnerving times, and with news changing rapidly daily we understand how worried you will be at the moment.

Style is not a basic necessity, and we appreciate shopping for non-essentials will be lower on your list of priorities right now. But, as our customers and community we deeply care about, we wish to help support you by lifting your spirits as much as possible right now. And, as a very small, self funded business we hugely appreciate your continued support at this very tough time.

Keeping You & Our Team Safe

Like all retailers, we have had to adjust, adapt and cope with an unprecedented situation during a deeply worrying time. But one thing hasn’t changed: our values. As always, we are committed to operating with the upmost integrity, ensuring we continue to put both your experience and our staffs’ safety first.

We are a small team, and have been closely monitoring the Covid-19 developments since January to ensure we’d be able to respond immediately to changes. Therefore we were prepared and able to implement new provisions seamlessly as soon as circumstances worsened.

Our team’s wellbeing & safety is of paramount importance to us and, as of mid-March, all our team has been working remotely with no physical contact with each other. There is a constant, ongoing dialogue between every single member of staff to confirm they continue to feel happy, healthy and safe. And we have mutually discussed and agreed on back up plans should anyone become unwell.  First and foremost we are a team, and will always be a team.

As such, to date we have all been able to continue business as usual. However, we are highly conscious of the risk of feeling overwhelmed or burnt out. So, we are actively encouraging breaks and time off if needed. And we are pleased to say that not a single member of staff has been laid off or furloughed, nor have there been any pay cuts – and we are determined that this will not change.

At present none of our team have any recorded cases of coronavirus, and we are all adhering to the World Health Organisation's advice on hygiene best practices. As a small business, we process every order internally, and we are in a fortunate position that we have sole and private access to our warehouse.

Public Health England (PHE) has advised that people receiving parcels are not at risk of contracting coronavirus. However, for the health and safety of all involved, we have temporarily introduced some new measures to ensure your and our team's health and safety:

UK

For the time being, we have removed the option to have orders delivered via Royal Mail, 24 Hour delivery and Saturday delivery, to limit social contact. All orders are now delivered via DHL, both collected from a distance, and delivered at a safe proximity without contact.

Free UK returns still apply. However, we will now arrange a collection by DHL from your home (which requires a minimum 2 hour time slot, booked as you request).

International

We are pleased to be able to continue shipping to the majority of you in other countries. However, unfortunately some countries are no longer accepting inbound deliveries, so we're temporarily unable to deliver to the following countries:

Austria, China and Hong Kong, Czech Republic, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Singapore and Portugal

For those of you who we cannot currently ship to, we are extremely sorry. However, so you don't miss out on enjoying our new arrivals or special offers, you can still place an order with us, and it will be shipped as soon as your country's restrictions are lifted. And, of course, we will notify you as soon as this happens.

For countries we still can ship to:

International Express orders are shipped via DHL, collected and delivered at a safe proximity without contact.

International Standard orders are collected and processed by DHL, and then passed on to your national postal service once they have passed through customs. Please visit your national postal service's website to find out more about their safety response to coronavirus.

Cheering You Up

There is no denying there is a deep psychological link between what we wear and how we feel. And the excitement of wearing something gorgeous now, or in the future, can bring a bolt of joy into an otherwise gloomy time.

To help cheer you up, we've added lots more styles and reductions to our CLEARANCE to help give you and your loved ones a little extra treat - and as always there's an extra 10% off when you shop 2 pieces, or 15% off when you shop 3 or more.

To alleviate financial concerns, there is also the option to pay using KLARNA, which will split payment of any order (no matter how big or small) across 3 months at no additional cost or interest. Just head to our checkout as usual and you will be presented with the option to choose KLARNA.

As always we will be sharing content on our blog and social media to keep you upbeat, inspired and informed. And we wish you and your loved ones love and health.
